Note that there is no more release of windows 11 for the moment: I'm waiting for the release of Windows 11 23H2.

Install.ESD file is used instead of WIM which was around 5.2GB for only 2 editions.
Win 11 23H2 build 2506 CU Preview integrated ISO:
ISO: Win 11 23H2 x64
SHA256: sha256_checksum

Did you upgrade my mounting and clicking setup.exe? If so, let me try your ISO. I downloaded a copy 23H2 directly from Micro$haft, tested it under Virtualbox and it did not install. All I got was the hated "undoing changes" prompt.

Let me know.

I didn't know you can upgrade from setup.exe under VBox. I used the same stock ISO and added the tweaks, CU preview, updated Win defender platform version, removed EdgeCore under Program Files x86 to trim each image to 9GB from 17GB.

No, actually the upgrade failed on Vbox. Just the hateful "undoing changes" prompt after an attempt. Based on what you're telling me I'm under the impression this won't work on Vbox. Let me give it another try after doing a backup. I refer to the newest stock 23H2 which became available for download a few days ago.

You said yours was the latest (as of today's date) stock ISO. Since it's 22H2, would you say it's fair to assume it's already installed on your system if Windows Update works?

You said you trimmed the image town to 9GB. The ISO is a little less than 5GB. Which is it?

Grabbed the 23H2 ISO and just added latest preview CU. with Vbox you may need to add 5GB RAM, 50GB disk, TPM2.0,EFI secure boot and chipset is ICH9 instead of PIII.
Image is compressed with ESD otherwise it is 5.8GB if not more.

In the real PC, only enablement package was needed to upgrade from 22H2 to 23H2.

The VM has plenty of resources alloted to it, so I doubt that's the problem. I tried to install the stock 23H2 to the host OS and I got some sort of license verification error. Not sure what that means or how to get around it. No mention of secure boot or TPM. TPM enabled on my rig, but not secure boot.

Let me be sure about something: the ISO you uploaded to Mega is 22H2's October edition or is it 23H2? Also, I'm not clear what you mean by "enablement package". Can you clarify?

I made a lite version of windows 11 23H2.
Edge was uninstalled. New drivers were integrated.
It could be available tomorrow.
