Just letting you know: your copy of Windows WORKED! You're the man! For some reason it took a bit of effort to mount it, but once I did and ran setup the update installed without a single error! Not only that, but after the install everything from Windows Update updated without a hitch.

How do you do it? On several occasions I tried to update from other copies, including one from M$ itself, and the installation crashed and crashed. Only your worked. In fact, I have yet to get an ISO from you that hasn't. Kudos to you. Keep them coming.

When are you going to do 24H2? I'll be waiting.

Thanks for the update and kind words. I was surprisingly sceptical if it would work. It seems something changed from my ntlite profile i used for windows 10 22h2 and their config to keep everything working from appx, edge, Netflix, nvidia driver etc.
I kept most of the component removal at stock and tested it with hyper V against my new PC.
Windows 11 is a mess and i don't like it. Try rerunning winaero and disable telemetry if you had allowed dynamic updating through setup.exe

Allow setup and dynamic update to connect to internet through 3rd party firewall.

OK thanks. I got it. I used the Mega extension on my portable copy of the Iron browser (an ungoogled carbon copy of Chrome). After a few error messages I changed the download directory and got out of the incognito mode. It worked.

I'll run a test tomorrow night after performing a backup.

BTW: As much as we may dislike Chrome, we Firefox users need to have a portable copy of some Chromium browser. There are many sites out there that are specifically designed for Chrome and will not run on Firefox. Here on this forum for some unexplained reason, I can't get in with Firefox.
Install megasync desktop app.

Whatever you did with that ISO, it worked. Not a single error message. I checked Winaero and saw no telemetry. The only change was that it was creating arrows on shortcuts. I took that out.

I am encountering a strange problem. I can't get a command prompt nor powershell. Sometimes I attempt it and several minutes later it comes up. On the Windows settings app, searching for anything takes forever. Did you run into this problem and/or do you have an idea on what might be happening?

I'll check out megasync. Thanks for the tip.

Hey Vasu. You said you tested your ISO on Hyper-V. Did you delete the virtual machine? If not then I'd like you to run a few tests for me. There are some weird bugs but I'm not sure if it's the ISO or some problem on the 2H22 I updated from.

1) If I try to pull up the command line (cmd or powershell) and nothing happens. However, it does come up 8-10 minutes later. I installed a great terminal emulator called ConEmu and it works great, so I'm not dead in the water when I need a command line.

2) Clipboard history and the emoji panel (Winkey-V and Winkey-.) show a blank screen. Not a deal breaker but take a look anyway.

3) Search doesn't work on the Settings app (Winkey-I). All I get is a line under the search bar that flashes from left to right. The Settings app itself does work.

4) I know you don't use Ccleaner, but when I turn it on I have to unclick Internet Explorer history and Clipboard history or Ccleaner will freeze up an show only that wheel spinning an spinning. No issues with Hibit Uninstaller cleaner.

Of course I'm keeping your ISO. Everthing else works OK and Windows Update is fixed. And of course, after many ISO I tested, this is the only one that actually worked.

Let me know.

BTW I don't know if you know anything about this, but there's no harm in asking. Do you know of any way to enlarge a video?

Quite Strange issues with Search though. Clipboard history I disabled it in post tasks through NTLite. As for cmd, terminal not opening instantly I don't know. I ran sfc /scannow in HyperVM before deleting it.
If you have OOSP+ or privatezilla or xd-antispy installed they cause this random bugs when I initially ran them just as my Win 10 machine. Winaero tweaker works perfectly on Windows 11 while OOSP 10+ and other tweakers are buggy and caused more issues with same settings as windows 10.
I enabled emoji shortcut through winaero by default it might be disabled.

I would suggest installing latest drivers since I disabled auto forced upgrades on Windows 11 Home/Pro editions. Use Nvcleanstall with recommended profile to download only necessary driver components and avoid the bloat. https://www.techpowerup.com/nvcleanstall/
This is their beta app that merges shadowplay and  driver control panel(just 50%). You have to use standard control panel to adjust monitor color profiles though. https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/software/nvidia-app/

Run these commands as administrator in order and check if it resolves all issues post reboot:
cd C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319
ngen update /nologo /silent
cd C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319
ngen update /nologo /silent

There is no question that the issues I've been having are due to something wrong with my previous intallation. That's why I asked you to run a test. But hey, it installed and for the most part it works.

I ran those commands you said and I got of missing file or failed to load errors. I wonder why.

The problem with NVInstall is I'm not sure which features I need and which I can't live without.

Why did you do a Windows 10 ISO? Who still uses W10?

Note that I will release a new version of windows 11 (version 24H2) on the forum next week.

Can it be installed the same as Vasudev's releases, i.e., mount and run setup.exe to upgrade?

Please don't load it up with unwanted programs that I have to spend time getting rid of.
